OMG backgrounds!
They seriously freak me out :P

I hope it's okay-ish...
This is another part on which i'm working out, drawing more backgrounds in comics.
What do you think of it?

I don't know why...but I really liked the idea that the creator "painted the universe into existence". It was just something that came to me and I really liked, so I stuck to it.

Also, trivia! Every name I've come up with for something in "my universe" has a meaning. Can anyone guess the meaning behind "Ni'tra'loth"?

@EmilyAnnCoons: Ni'tra'loth... It sounds very Lord of the Ringsish, and it makes me think of nitrate, but that seems kiiind of out of place. I honestly have no idea, will it be explained? Because you got me dead curious now :P.

@Samsatus: Honestly? It's just a name I randomly came up with. Technically, it's "Versumian" (Ver-suh-me) (Versumi is a world I created for my stories which will be featured in this comic later). Basically, I needed a word for a monster called a "Blood Beast", but I didn't want to call it that. I ended up calling it a "Nil'kra'ti'li'oth" (Nil-krah-ti-lee-oth). It's a very complex word...but it simply just means "Beast made of blood". After I had formed that word, I needed a name for the world they came from. "Ni'tra'loth" (Nee-trah-loth) ended up coming out of that. Essentially, the word means "The Final Plane of Hell".

Ni'tra'loth is one of 9 worlds that make up the "homeworld" of the Nightmares. Ni'tra'loth is the first and therefore "deepest" part of that "homeworld". Because there are so many Nightmares, they have spread throughout the planets they destroyed. They've claimed 9 as their homes and the weaker beings have gone to the later worlds.

Essentially, there's 9 worlds the Nightmares live on, and each world is connected via some sort of "interplanetary gate". Those 9 worlds have become viewed as a single world (despite being whole individual worlds) and become known as "The Nine Planes of Hell". Ni'tra'loth also holds a portal to "The Lake of Fire" which, as you may have noted later in the chapter is what we consider to be "Hell". (Actually, in Christian religion, "Hell" is not the Lake of Fire. The lake is where Lucifer/Satan and his followers will be thrown at the end of time. Therefore, the "Hell" Christians usually think of would be the 9 worlds of the Nightmares while the Lake of Fire would be the place the demons are thrown at the end of time.)
