When I initially pitched the comic idea to Renske, I sent her a list of all of the important characters I had planned to introduce in the first few chapters. These, of course, included Ami, Brandon, Emily, and Jeremy/Jeniffer. When I told her what I wanted in Ami, she said it would be a challenge that she'd be interested in giving a try. Renske hasn't really had a lot of experience drawing busty women before.

It's been fun talking to her on Skype, cause Changing Stone has really given her a challenge art-wise. She's having to draw a lot of things she's not used to drawing, and I'm glad she's enjoying that. I still giggle when she talks about how much of a challenge it is for her to draw Jeniffer and Ami because she usually draws girls with pants or shorts, so skirts are way different to work with XD

Also! Don't forget we have a tumblr if you want to drop us or any of the main characters a question! http://thechangingstone.tumblr.com/

Half Chinese, half Japanese: this combination also appears in "Alexis Perkins." Significance?

@sunspark: This was the comic Ren and I did before Alexis. There are several instances of crossover characters between the two because of this. Both comics even occur in Antioch.

@EmilyAnnCoons: Yes, I just reached the end of chapter 4 and was disappointed to discover that it had been discontinued. Ah well... At least we have Alexis.

@sunspark: Yeap. It might make a comeback if I can find an artist for it, but it'll also involve a rewrite, so all the current pages would be removed. But, I've left that task for when, or if, I find an artist to work on it.
