This is an interesting aspect that I've never seen covered in many sci-fi series. The aspect of time being different for each world. That said, there's a sort of "universal time" which will come into play later in the comic. In this universal time, it's been about 5 billion years. We humans just have short years.

There is actually a scientific measurement for measuring the age of the galaxy. I forget what the actual name of it is, but each unit of it is exponentially larger than the previous. Where one unit might be 10 years, two units could total 50 years and three units could measure 200 years. I don't know what the actual length is, only that in reality they're exceptionally larger.
